Ragan & Associates, PA was formed in 1997 to fill a niche in the South Florida market. The founder, Cindy Ragan, was actively involved in M&A and business valuations when they realized that the CPA market was highly specialized and under served. As they began serving the accounting industry exclusively, they formed Ragan & Associates, PA. After 29 years in the industry they have become authorities in the field, speaking regularly at FICPA, AICPA, accounting and tax organizations and conferences around the state and the country.

Cindy Ragan is the founder and President of Ragan & Associates, PA. She has a Masters Degree from George Washington University in economics and finance and is also a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) from the National Association of Valuation Analysts. She is author of “The Complete Guide to Mergers & Acquisitions of CPA Firms”, approved by the Board of Accountancy as an open book test for 10 CPE credit hours and also considered an industry expert in the valuation of CPA, Tax and Accountings firms and speaks regularly at FICPA and industry conferences. Ms. Ragan worked as an Economist on Wall Street before relocating to South Florida to become an entrepreneur. She has founded and sold several businesses of her own over the past 25 years and has been a management consultant and business valuation analyst for the CPA industry for the past 30 years. Ms. Ragan authored another book for small businesses titled “How to Value & Sell Your Business”. Ms. Ragan is also an adjunct professor of economics and business.
